Due to lack of available mod time, we are no longer able to continue hard deleting blog posts on request . It takes up too many resources from the moderating time of our volunteer team, which we need to spend on higher priority tasks.Soft deleting blog posts on your own, so that they are hidden for everybody else except you and the mods, is still possible."

I do not tend to look for new sticky threads any more and there are so many of them on site support. Might it be time to get some more moderators if you are so busy?

Like enfys says, the announcement wasn't made until after all outstanding deletion requests were completed, including yours. So no worries. :)
