My wife has a lot of hair and wants to keep it up on the top of her head in a bun. She used long plastic pins before but she loses them and I don't think they do that well at keeping her hair up. I am writing this because she complains about it and I don't want her complaining anymore. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Tell her to try using a hair stick, a hair fork, or jaw clips to hold her bun.

I can usually do a cinnabun, starting with a hair elastic to hold the pony tail and then a stiff scrunchy type to hold the bun once I've finished it. sometimes i add an elastic before the scrunchy if the scrunchy is wimpy.
It holds for me all day and does not shift or move.

Hair stick with a Gibraltar Bun--voila! :D (just google "Gibraltar Bun" and you should find an article for it).
