I'm a little confused about what this is and how to do it. Am I right in my understanding that it's just a cinnabun, but without twisting? I'm thinking the first little bit would have to be twisted at least, right? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

While I sometimes use "swirly xyz"to mean "bun xyz without twisting" (though usually I use "wrapped xyz" instead). The swirly bun is its own bun. Here (http://www.network54.com/Forum/242462/thread/1084704126/The+Swirly+Bun)is the original instruction from the styling station.

Thanks for the link, I tried it and it was great! I like this bun better than the twirled for using a hair stick. I love learning these new buns!

This is my favorite bun ever. I used to have a little pony sticking out the back, but now it's long enough that the tail wraps around the bun once or twice more. And it holds itself without a hairstick superbly!
