Hi, wasn't sure if this is where I should post this or not.

I'm doing a hair treatment right now. I mixed a tablespoon of Castor Oil, about a teaspoon of coconut oil, 3 drops of Rosemary EO and 2 drops of Cedarwood EO. I applied it to my scalp and roots, massaged, then ran my fingers through my length. It's been on for over an hour now.. Should I plan to wash this out tonight or is it ok to leave it on all night? I didn't want to damage my hair with the EO's..

Thank you for any advice!!

I washed it out, I didn't want to chance it. If anyone knows if either of those EO's are damaging if left on too long, please let me know! Thanks!

At that low of a concentration I'd say you're likely to be safe leaving it on overnight if you wanted.

But that's just my opinion.

I always leave my EO mixture (in jojoba) overnight. I use cedarwood and rosemary, too, plus a lot of other EOs. Never did me any harm! Just the opposite.
