You went from apl to nearly waist in 18 months, and you trimmed 1".
Not to mention that your hair looks a lot healthier and happier.

Your hair is alot longer in the second photo. Hair growth rates vary, so what's is normal for one person may not be normal for another.

Is your hair colour brown now like the second photo? Did you stop colouring it? It looks healthier now.

I average about 1/2" per month. So I would expect to see about 8 inches of growth in that amount of time taking into account the trim you had. I can't tell for sure but it looks as if you have at least 6 inches, right? I don't think That is slow at all!! Congrats on your growth! It looks nice and healthy too!

Its not slow at all. You went from APL in June of 2009 to now almost waist length as of right now. Also, your hair is in great condition, very healthy and shiny.
