January 2010 to January 2011 (Hair Progress Pic)

The picture on the LEFT was taken at the end of January 2010, after I had it cut and colored the November before...which was a re-hab job after 'The Bleach Disaster of August 2009.'

The picture on the RIGHT was taken today, January 12, 2011. Right before my husband took the picture, I clarified my hair (1 part shampoo, 10 parts conditioner), and lightly blew it dry because today is a Snow Day and it is COLD here! (I usually CO wash and haven't used shampoo in about 3 weeks). AND - in my meek attempt to stay away from the flat iron in 2011 - it has some 'flippy' ends...but is otherwise in its 'natural state' of not completely straight and not at all wavy hahaha!

My last trim was November 2010 and my next planned (but not set in stone) trim is maybe May 2011.......hopefully I will reach my goal of BSL this year!!! :pray:

YES!

I trimmed in
November 2009,
April 2010,
July 2010, and
November 2010.

I had a lot of damage from bleach...and the trimming also helped to even it up and change the shape.

Going forward I plan to trim 2x a year...unless I can find a way to prevent splits ;)
