I was thinking 1b, but when I saw the underlayers it was more like 2b. Now I'm confused.

So the consensus seems to be 1c/2a ?

I like the waves but as soon as I brush it or even touch it all the defined waves are gone and it ends up with just body but no definition (like in my avatar) which I like also. :)

Yup I agree with 1c/2a due to your underlayers. It will be interesting to see if the wave comes out more or relaxs as your hair gets longer :D

Those pesky underlayers seem to have a mind of their own :D

I figured the wave would relax more as my hair grew but I have seen pictures here where people's wave/curl pattern develops more after they start taking better care of their hair , so I don't know. I guess I'll have to wait and see :D

ETA : I filled in my profile finally.... 1c/2a F/M ii :) yay ! it feels like I accomplished something ;)

Some people's hair just develop waves/curls after a certain length. You won't see my curls until after APL! I also agree with 1c/2a.

My curls are very evident when my hair is short ! But as it grew they went much straighter , maybe they will appear again , who knows :D Here is an old picture of how curly my hair is when short. It was much blonder then ( thanks to highlights) but no curling iron or products used except some gel to hold the curl. sorry the pic is so fuzzy ( it was taken about 17 years ago :) ) ....maybe some of my curls will find their way back :)
