Has anyone changed there diet?
I have started eating 2 eggs every morning, and more nuts, seeds etc, trying to get in more protein and fish to.
I have also joined the gym and going to exercise 3 times a week.
what does everyone else do, and do you think diet changes hair growth?

I think only if you are missing something vital in your diet. I ate very healthy and exercised up to 5 times a week over about 2 -3 months and did not notice any difference to my hair. But my waistline looks alot better and I feel better about myself.
It doesn't hurt to try. Is it safe to eat 14 eggs a week?

It isn't harmful at all to eat, but you might get a bit tired of the taste after a while :p

I have been a vego for 22yrs. I am realising more and more that I need to up my protein intake. I have added lots of nuts to my eating regime (I don't diet).
Macadamia (because they are yummy) Brazil nuts (good for hair) with dark chocolate and pumpkin seeds (full of zinc). I have them on the kitchen counter so I can graze them before having or making a meal.
I am not too keen on peanut butter (I prefer Vegemite) but I have it on my toast because of the protein

I take iron, vit D, Super B Complex, Centrum Silver, and biotin every day.
Try and drink at least 4 8 oz glasses of water every day.
Talk half hour walks every day (weather permitting)

I imagine that what's good for your nails is probably also good for your hair. My nails have been really brittle since as long as I can remember. No use in growing them out at all. I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian (no fish). Started eating omega 3 of the types DHA and EPA a couple of months ago (algae oil: v-pure or pure-one), which isn't part of your diet if you're a vegetarian. About 2 months after I started my nails are strong for the first time I can remember! So I'm definitely going to continue with that. Probably takes longer time to notice any result on hair though. Non-vegetarians can eat omega 3 DHA and EPA from fish or fish-oil.
