I keep promising not to trim, no dying... etc... I keep doing it! :p This time, I shall promise, no more dying... (At least till my pink dye runs out... Teehee.) no more trimming till December 2011...

Yet...

I shall have one final cut before I take these plunges, to satisfy my need for change. :o

Here's the one of the last major cuts I shall have!

What do you think? :D
I'm also unsure of bangs... what do you think? Bangs or no? If so, what sort of bang would suit my face?

I'm excited for the stylist appointment. Gaah. I'm such a impulsive, changy person. >>; Hey. Might as well have fun right?

Oooh looks like fun!

For bangs, I think you look really cute without them, but I really like the look of a side bang :) They seem to be universally flattering!

Honestly I think that will be a horrible hair cut to try to grow out. Not trying to be a downer but you can get the same look by just pinning back half of your hair with a deep side part and perhaps a little fringe.

If what you want is experimental and funky hair I would vote no to the bangs and to go for it but if you do want long even hair I wouldn't. You would be adding a good two years to get to your goal.

Thank you for your input. :o Hmm... leaning towards no bangs...

I always do that pinning back my hair thing already. I love it so much, and I want to show off my earings. ;) I think it's great to grow out, I've always loved assymetrical cuts that grow out, *Shrug* I think it just looks stylish. One of my friend's had the side of her head shaven in the past, it grew out slightly assymetrical, yet I never really noticed. (She didn't trim the other side to match either.) I know my growth pattern might be different, but I still find the difference enchanting.

I do want long hair, but I want it... styled(layered) without too many as I had in the past. I don't mind the front being assymetrical, it's the back that bothers me. :p I wouldn't be getting the back cut to the same sort of length as that side, perhaps only a slight slight bit of it. :)

Thank you for your input! ^_^

PS. I'm also going to get LONG layers in. Not as much as last time, I do love layers. :)

Play with hair options all you want! When it's time to leave it alone and let it grow, you'll know. I dreamed of classic length hair since grade school, but it wasn't my time to grow until I hit my mid-40s.

If you're prepared to deal with a long, annoying grow-out process, go for it! But like xoxophelia said, this would be adding years to your goal.

Two week rule? ;)

Do what you want! Two week rule, of course, make sure that is REALLY what you want, and go for it!

I truly believe that it is better to regret doing something than to regret not doing something.

It's only hair! We want pictures :)

I've slays enjoyed the growing out process myself :) Not everyone does, but it's not so bad.

If you want to change and cut and play with your hair, why shouldn't you? Have FUN with it! Your hair should be yours to enjoy, whether that be by babying it with SMTs and buying hair toys while it grows to unimaginable lengths, or by dying it a different color every week and styling it in wild and funky ways!

As for bangs, I think side-swept bangs would look really pretty on you, personally.

I say go for it, you're only young once after all.

I like the cut! Great idea, with that cut too you could give long side fringe a go, and if you don't like it it's easy enough to clip back or wave/curl out your face :)

I am the same, indecisive! I tell myself I won't dye my hair then find myself bored and looking in my wardrobe of rainbow dyes.

Go for it!
I will say, however, that I've known a few girls who have had haircuts like this and they always ended up hating them.

I say yes on the bangs!! That way you can say you did it and if you like them you can keep them or grow them a bit longer, or completely out. The shorter cut, sure if you want, and the pink, why not, your young, have fun before your like me and a MOM with pink hair!! lol

My DH cut the underside of my hair super short, almost shaved, & we kept the rest of it longer. It was really cool & i could tie my hair up & look like i had a kind-of mohawk thing goin on. :p I loved it & growing it out was fun up until a certain, then it became kind of annoying but only for a short time. It was well worth it.

I often think about doing it again when my hair is long. It was really cool.

Are you still planning on doing the asymmetrical cut then? I think it would be awesome on you & if it's what you really want then go for it! Hair is supposed to be fun, whether it's long, short, or anything inbetween. Do what makes you happy. :)

Basically all my girl friends have that asymmetrical cut right now and they all love it. It's very cute and feminine on them yet modern, and also, you can always give yourself a middle part so that you have long hair covering up the short side if you want. I say go for it. Now's the time to experiment, you have plenty of time to grow out your hair when you're older, having a severe asymmetrical haircut may not always be an option for you in the future.

I tried all kinds of styles from colors to different hair cuts while I was younger ( I wish had had taken more pictures). I could get away with them at that time. I didn't grow my hair out until I was in my late 30's. Do what seems best for you and have fun with it!!

Hmm, just my personal input, but I love blunt bangs. But mine even when heat styled reverts to wurly due to the weather, so I'm growing out.

Here's a fringe I've always admired on LHC.

I did it! It's amazing, and I think I'll be keeping my hair assymetrical as I grow it down to classic. ;) Will be pretty epic.
Not even cut much off the length!

I wish I could dye my hair unnatural colors. but my mother forbids it. (and unfortunately once I get into the working world I will probably be unable to do so.. I'll have to wait until I'm retired gaaah).

Glad you're enjoying your new haircut/color. :D
