I've been gone about a year...

Hello all!

I've been gone for about a year now. I've been so busy and whatnot.

I took a picture to see if I've gained any length since Summer of '09, but I haven't really. I HAVE however, managed to grow out a lot of color!

No dye since February 2009...

I'm pretty bummed that I haven't gained much, if any, length. :(:(

However, I am glad that the color is grown out so it almost looks natural, like I spent a lot of time in the sun or something.

I want waist length virgin hair, eventually. I hated the way my hair looked as it was growing out color so I kept trimming and layering. I think I'm ready to start gaining some serious length since I'm content with the color now :)

I know it's disappointing not to have gained much length, but with the damage trimmed off, you are in a good position to grow without such frequent trims this year. Good luck in 2011!

Your hair has grown a LOT, you just cut off the old colour. Now you know what your hair is capable of and if you stop trimming you'll get to your goal soon. Good luck :)

:cheese::cheese::cheese::cheese:Um....Not to sound nasty or anything, but have you considered corrective lenses?

I've really LOOKED at both pictures and see a LOT of growth. Just looked again to be sure. Do you still have the blouse from the 1st pic? To me, it looks like you've grown over half of the width of the band on the back. Definate growth! And yes, I'm wearing my glasses!

I can also see a definate improvement in the quality of your hair since you've quit coloring.

Your layer in back looks a lot longer. Just looked at pics again. Yep, definate growth.

So, do a happy dance!
