I've been lurking on these boards since about August when I started noticing that my hair started thinning. I'm 22 years old so that was a complete shock to me. I found LHC while I was googling some solutions to my problem and I'm so glad I found this site!
Since August, I started taking better care of my hair. I decided to go ahead and trim off most of the damage of my previously highlighted hair and patiently wait for my virgin hair to grow in. I started taking GNC's Hair, Skin, and Nail formula but noticed that it made me break out (probably because of the biotin) so I had to stop. My doctor recommended taking Saw Palmetto to help with the thinning hair and I've been taking that with a MultiVitamin since about November. Although I haven't seen any regrowth, I have noticed that my hair stopped shedding so much.
I'm really excited to continue my hair growth journey with you guys and am looking forward to reaching my goal length of waist (although today I saw some beautiful TBL hair that made me reconsider my goal :hmm: ). Thank you so much for reading and I'm looking forward to sharing my journey! :cheese:
