I apologize if there is already a thread out there on this, but I had a quick question.
Can you wash out a heavy oiling with clarifying products, whether a shampoo or conditioner, or does that completely undo the benefits of such treatment?
I ask cause for my normal daily oiling, I can CO only and have no problems getting all the oil out. But when I do my heavy oilings, even if I leave the conditioner on for a good bit, I usually need to CWC in order to get all the oil out. Not that I'm complaining, but I do try to avoid shampoos as much as possible.
Mind you, I clarify regularly one day a week, with V05 Kiwi-Lime, using both the shampoo and conditioner. Otherwise, I tend to stick with CO, applying the conditioner to dry hair and rinsing at the end of my shower.
