Chopped off way more hair than planned last night! (Picture)

Last night for the new year, I did Feye's self trimming method and although I was planning on just taking an inch off at most, I ended up taking off a lot more (major shrinkage and I cut it while wet when my hair is straightened)! But my hair was IN DESPARATE need of this, so I'm happy and I think it looks good! :) By the way my hair is quite messy in both of these and the picture of my new cut is just a low quality cell phone pic.

It is a little bitter-sweet, but like I said, I had major breakage and splits that are now finally gone, its a good feeling and some of my thin bottom layers are now gone!

I love both pics. You've got more length in the first one and nice stretched out curls, then more bounce to your curls in the second. It's all worth it just for the split-free ends you've got now!

IMO you did not cut off as much as you think. It looks like the length was weighing down your curls so the trim just enabled them to bounce up more thus making it look like you cut off a lot.

It looks really nice either way:)
