OK, gang - it's December 31! Post your final hair shot of the year here for posterity!!

Here's mine this morning - freshly combed, following ACV rinse yesterday; bun waves and my head is tilted slightly forward, but currently at BCL:

Not washed in 3 days, pretty much just rolled out of bed. The back is SO much longer than the front, the front is just barely chin length. Can't WAIT til the last shot of 2011, it'll be sooooo much longer! :)

Here is mine! I tried to get a decent pic from straight behind but my stupid cellphone camera sabotaged them all. Here's newly washed and mostly airdried (it's still a little wet). Also, it's dried during the day, which is rare for me, so this is my natural texture and all with no changes made from drying in any shape or so. No braid waves, no anything. Now, I'll wait for it to dry completely and fix my sockbun. :D

I measured two days early. 42" after four months of not measuring. This photo was taken after my hair had been in a lazy wrap bun, and post-coconut oil shampoo. (Yes, I tried it, too.) :lol:

Aww thank you, that's very sweet. :o I guess it's hard to see in the picture, but my hair very fly away and hard to manage when it's really clean. It will settle down in a day or two. ^.^

This is my hair today. Last night it was in a sock bun, and today it has been in a low pony tail.

This is what my hair looked like, after the first time I had ever oiled it. It's still slightly damp from a shower, and hasn't been combed. This was taken a couple weeks ago I think, when I came back to LHC. The scarf shows where my bra strap is.

I've been practicing benign neglect since Dec 2009. I only started paying attention to it a couple of months ago and it is better but still fried. I color roots every 4 weeks or so.

I'd planned to trim before the No Cut in 2011 challenge but didn't have a chance to and now I'm debating whether I should. I will have serious fairy tale ends if I don't and I am not sure that I like the look at 50+ yrs. :) Love it on younger women tho. But that's just me.

Here's mine! Today was wash day, and my updo happened to fall down at work, so I took a moment and snapped a picture of what my hair looked like. It needs a brushing and my hemline looks a little crazy (I havent taken scissors to it in any way in 15 months), but whatever.

Look how close to APL I am!! I also included my first decent length shot, which is from August. And the below picture is the first I've ever taken with my hands at waist -- the typical LHC pose. Hehe :)

My hair is oily from a scalp oiling I did. I'm going to be hennaing tomorrow probably.
I have put on weight the last few months, unfortunately!
At least my ends are looking not too bad, they splayed out a bit, but they are much thicker than previous years!

Last night I heavily applied Organix Coconut Serum and this morning I Co'd it out...lighting blew dried (cause it was cold), did not use a brush nor a flat iron...so those are my natural flippies...not waves...but my hair isn't exactly completely straight naturally...don't know what you called it! Plus I put some Natural Instincts "Tweed" (light ash brown) in it last week.

So....
Two years ago, 31 Dec 2008 I had my LAST HAIRCUT!:D Since then, no trimming, no nothing. Oh yeah, it was a fully inspired Agyness Deyn Pixie (http://www.topnews.in/files/agness-deyn201.jpg)(this was in fact the pic I gave to the hairdresser)

For this Dec 31 I am wearing a half up dutch braid, and I'm thanking Santa and LHC for giving me this lovely BSL length! May Dec 31 Bring me a joyfull waist length :cheese:

Thanks! I'm not sure. I'm not sure if it's doing too much, but the 8th will be a month of using it. I shall see then. Maybe I will bump it to 4% for month two! Happy new year!

It's great to see everyone's final hairpictures for 2010! Angeletti, how do you prevent your ends from going crunchy with braidwaves? My ends always end up quite crunchy when I have those waves.

Yosha- Hmm, I'm not sure if I do anything special but my routine usually consists of spraying on a leave in conditioner before braiding the damp hair then I try to braid as far down as I can and tie it off with one of those tiny elastics. It could be the cones I use, they always leave my ends feeling like silk.
