I've seen the pictures, seen the videos, sen the results. But I just don't get how it works? How does the tilt of your head determine hair shape?

Is it because when you tilt your head further forward, you're getting less of the longer hair in the back of your head and so you cut off more of the front hairs and that gives you the u-shape? That's the only theory I can come up with and I'm sitting here pulling my hair ove rmy shoulder and tilting my head trying to figure out what my hair is doing, which hairs are being pulled which way and imaging cutting it and what happens to the hair but I just. don't. get. it.

Can anyone explain it? Thank you! (I feel very stupid) :p

I think the way you described it is exactly right ... the front/side hairs are closer to your cutting location than the back hairs so you'll get a U shape.
