Hello all,

Here are a few pictures of my look for today...no planning ahead, it just kind of happened. :) I thought it turned out rather interesting, and not heavy at all, which is nice! ;) Too bad my clip is missing a few stones...

That gorgeous! Was it stable? Did it stay up very well?

Thanks, everybody! :)
@rosek,
Yes, it stayed up great! I had my hair divided into two ponytails, so the clip is actually anchored to the top ponytail which takes all the weight off.

That is incredibly beautiful!
May I inquire as to how you did it? Not that I have nearly enough hair, but I am curious :)

I like it! I've attempted something similar, but my clip wasn't big enough to hold it.

Thank you, everybody! :)

@daemonwildcat,
I'm not very good when it comes to explaining, but I'll give it a go:
First I divided my hair into two ponytails, then I divided my hair in the top ponytail into three braids, and my hair in the bottom ponytail into two braids. I fastened the ends of the braids w/ ponytail holders (elastics), then held all the ends together with one hand, and folded them upwards. You could stop right there and go ahead w/ your octopus clip, but my hair is so long I folded them again, downwards this time and tucked the ends underneath - then I used the octopus clip. The clip holds all the braids in place, and is anchored to the top ponytail holder.

I hope this makes sense! :o

Thanks, girls! You are so kind. :o If you decide to give it a try, let's see, please! Maybe you'll have a new way or different idea the rest of us could try...:)

Here's a few pics I posted in another thread that gave me the basic idea for two ponytails, one above the other.

Yes, do you recall where you got the big clip? I've never seen one that size, and am quite jealous! :D Thanks for sharing the lovely photos!

Thank you! I get all my clips here on my island. I live in Chuuk, Micronesia, and there is a little store here that orders clips of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Here is definitely the best place to buy clips, better even than Australia or America~ which is so funny!! This tiny little island!!
