its origional and fun.. not to hard to do.. and makes it all natural looking curley when you take it out.

just part up... twist the bits until they curl around themsleves.. fix with a pin.... no need to bands or anything, infact, I dont even need to use the pins.. just for security.

easyer to do when a bit wet or it springs out of place.

my hair is like.. back on my knees length and really thin but not bad condition. this can be done with any length though

most people think its awesome.

keeps up for days and doesnt stop looking tidy.. when it comes to take down..
amazing boofy curls giving lots of volume.

Lots of curly girls do bantu knots! Bravo! I'm blessed with beautiful natural curls, but if you can pull this off, more power to you! :D

Welcome to LHC, BTW.

Thanks guys. I always called them 'plumes' becuase it was inspired by a description in my favouret teen novel (back in the day) and hen called it 'amber hair' from the Newzealand TV

show... 'the tribe' .. kids show. now I guess they are 'Bjork buns' or bantu knots. I was thinking os winding feathers in to them.. and doing me some outragious makeup. ... what do you think?

Oh I used to love The Tribe! I actually watched a couple of seasons again on megavideo or something. The bad acting is obvious now but still awesome in it's own way :p

If you do the feathers and stuff please post pics :D I want to do the same thing!

I LOVE THE TRIBE!
I'm in the U.S., but I can watch ALL seasons
on YouTube for free!
I remember seeing it the first time when I
was in high school and I fell in love. *_*
Actually, when I first saw your hair style
it immediately reminded of Amber. ^ ^ y
