I'm looking for a hair spray that has no chemicals, is natural, makes hair smell light, is good for hair, and makes hair stay put. Anybody have any suggestions?:D

I honestly don't know if there is such a thing. I'll be watching this thread with great interest!

Aubrey Organics has a hairspray called NuStyle Organic Hairspray. Here (http://www.aubrey-organics.com/ProductInfo/064.aspx) is the link to it, with ingredients. I've never tried any of AO's stuff before though, but that's the first thing I found!

ETA: beautydebutante.com has a review of it, as follows: "NuStyle Organic Hairsprays: There are two formulations of the hairspray – regular hold and soft hold. Both of them harness the organic quinoa protein, which apparently is multi-tasking; not only does it repair the hair shaft, but it is a natural fixative and shine booster! I find that I prefer the soft hold for when I wear my hair down (it keeps my curls curly but not crunchy), and the regular hold for when I war my hair in a ponytail (to keep my flyaways/baby hairs down)."

I actually also read that the "NuStyle Organic Hair Spray" doesn't really hold well. It's more like for curls. I need something to keep up a bun, and keep baby fly-hairs off my face.

Aloe. To keep up a bun, I smooth some aloe through the length of my hair that will end up in the bun or updo. To keep my bangs in place, I mist with 1:1 solution of water:aloe (by volume, not weight). I shake it up to get it mixed well, and then spritz it on my bangs or to keep flyaways in place. Can't get any more natural than that, IMO. :)

I've read recipes where you can make hairspray from flax seed, gelatin, even lemons.
I haven't tried any of them myself, though. I don't use style products all that much.

I do the same as ddiana1979 and mix some water with aloe vera gel... you can add some jojoba oil in there too and it acts as a frizz spray as well :)
