Hello everyone! :waving:

I've decided to do my hair anniversary a little early due to being busy for Christmas :)

All pictures are clickable :D

I joined LHC 2 years ago on 25th December 2008

My hair was layered, dry and very damaged from past neglect and dyes.

My first picture
hair length 31" 28th Decemeber 2008

I had a huge problem with my hair getting very thin at the ends. The thiness was traveling up.

17th Feb 2009 / 5th June 2009
http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?pictureid=32072&albumid=2296&dl=1251027774&thumb=1 (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=2296&pictureid=32072) http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?pictureid=40886&albumid=2296&dl=1251027774&thumb=1 (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=2296&pictureid=40886)

My ends had gotton very thin in the 4 months. So I decided before the thiness got any higher. I would cut all the damage away and start a fresh.

So I cut 15 inches off on the 5th June 2009.
I went from TBL 34.3" to APL 19"

20th July 2009 APL 19.5"

I have learnt so many useful things here.
*My hair loves CWC with no cones.
*My hair is also loving scalp washing and doing full washing monthly.
*Olive oil makes my hair so soft
* My holy grail products are Inecto coconut conditoner and Tangle teezer brush.
* Feyes self trim method

I want to thank you all for your wonderful advice and friendship. Also thank you for the support you have all given to me during my bad times :smooch:

Here's my hair now 17th December 2010

I am IMPRESSED at how fast it took you to grow from APL all the way down to almost hip length! You grew 10 whole inches of hair in just a year and a half! Most people would need to take the whole 2 years or even more in order to grow the same amount that you have. Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary!!

Wow. It looks a lot thicker now than two years ago. That's pretty interesting. I assume you got it thicker by trimming off the thin ends? I'm quite amazed at the difference.
I still think it was pretty with the fairy tale ends though, but your hair looks thicker now no doubt.

Good job! That massive cut must have hurt though.:)

I just measured and it will take me 14" inches to get the length you got in 10" inches lol. :(

Your texture is beautiful. It really does look like a different set of hair. CONGRATS!

Wow, beautiful and inspiring. You were very brave to cut your hair to APL from TBL. I am amazed at its growth and good condition since then. Your story really shows that it pays off to know your hair well and customize your routine to suit its needs. Well done :)

Wow, your hair is beautiful! Amazing that you have the courage to cut off that much. I can't even cut off two inches, and my hair needs it badly!:(

It's a little hard to see the ends in the final picture, but it looks like you've maintained thickness this time. Wow - what fast growth!
