Woo! past BSL!

No pictures yet (my mirror is shoulder-height, so getting photos of the length is tricky), but I just realized the majority of my hair is passing BSL!

Course, I need a haircut desperately. The split ends just keep on spreading :( Gonna try braiding again at night and just getting used to the feel.

Congrats!!!! BSL seems to be the biggest huddle so far for me. APL was easy, I've been trying to reach BSL for over a year. :p

I'm having issues still getting it up into a bun. I think I must have very thick hair in that case, heh. Either that or I'm doing the wrong kind of buns :)

Congratulations!! I remember how long it seemed to take to reach BSL from APL.
But believe me, the longer it gets the shorter it feels!

I'll work on it! I think I will be just AT BSL when I get my trim.

I just need to find a way to get rid of the split ends once and for all.

Is there a guide to how thick one's hair is?

Well, waist length /is/ past BSL ;)

And I just tugged the longest down a wee bit. I think I'm ABOUT to break through to Waist Length. But does it count if only one or two hairs out of the thousands passes it? :)

I'm finding my hair VERYthick. I tried the one-hair-stick bun trick and found I just COULDNT get it to hold in place (I finally settled for a half-twist and using the leather peice of my hairstick to hold the ends down), as there was just too much hair!

I'd say you're waist length, too, or very, very close. And you get to define it however you want, IMO. If one hair reaches waist and you want to say you're at waist, you do it! Very pretty hair--I don't think your ends look that bad at all. I bet you could easily do a 2" trim, clean up your ends, and still be past BSL.

Congrats on the length! :) Myself, I'm hanging around BSL, but I'm starting to hallucinate that I might be at waist soon. Sometimes I think I'm AT waist, sometimes I think I'm still a few inches away. It's so hard to know, really! ;)
