Sory, gross I know, but I had to ask. :o

I tend to get these little scalp breakouts between my ears and my temples about an inch into the hairline. they're not from makeup or hairspray or hair products...at least not to my knowledge. I beleive they're from not shampooing. :( I wash every 2nd or third day, so it goes like this:
a) shampoo day, no wash day, co wash day, then shampoo day again
b) shampoo day, co wash day, co wash day, then shampoo day again

Anyone else have this problem? It does sem to get better when I shampoo every day which is why I went back to shampooing every day a while back...when my scalp got better I started with skipping again and/or co'ing again.

It's weird because my hair doesn't get super greasy. On my thrid day I need dry shampoo, but I'm by no means a greaseball.

I only use coconut oil on my ends...

Any thoughts? I'm going to try ACV rinsing more often...see if that helps.

Have you tried using cat nip tea? That's supposed to be good for skin and hair, see if that helps maybe!

Might be your conditioner? I tend to break out along my hairline if I don't wash my face after conditioning my hair. I guess my skin in that area is just sensitive to conditioner residue/oils or something.

Hmmm...I shall try both, thank you very much!

Your hair probobly has some buildup from conditioner that has been left on the scalp. Clairifying more often could help get rid of it.

I can't get conditioner on my scalp, I just put it on the length. Silicone is okay on my hair but not on my skin. I don't do well with coconut oil either. I have to make sure the shampoo I use is not too stripping...unless it's for clarifying.
Have you changed up your products or schedule lately? Could it be hormone related?

Do you use conditioner with protein in it? I can't use those conditioners for CO, I sometimes get painful pimples in my scalp from it.
