Curls and ringlets, especially with TIGI Curls Rock product in it while scrunching and using a diffuser attachment on my blow-drier.

Much better than if I don't. I use either mousse or gel and water from a spray bottle.

Mine goes right back to normal after I scrunch it. I guess there is too much weight on the strands to hold a wave without damp bunning :(.

Absofrickenloutly nothing, unfortunately. :( Maybe I'm not doing it right...

Or maybe it's giving me a rude gesture (like Igor's) and I'm not catching it

Love your siggy, milagro - it's so true!

When my hair was longer it would look like one of those spiral perms from the 90's.

Now, it looks like a rat's nest. At least it's a mostly virgin hair rat's nest, lol.

If I do it right, it looks a lot like this (http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/7800000/as-Morgana-katie-mcgrath-7877394-2560-1707.jpg). If I do it wrong, it comes out more like this (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FekELn6Cqq8/SFktuaTxyiI/AAAAAAAACT0/axgNuEKMa8Y/s320/RosannaDanna.jpg).

I'm with Bonkers on this one. Not a darned thing. I start with dead-straight, flat hair and end up with dead-straight, flat hair. LOL!

It took me the whole decade of the 80s to make the peace with that. :p

Mine does, too. I suppose that's what scrunching is for :eyebrows:

It looks virtually the same as if I don't scrunch it. Plopping on the other hand is now doing more harm than good for my waves/curls.

Depends on if I use product or not. If I do I get nice waves if I don't I still get nice waves, but they degrade into a frizzy mess as soon as it's dry :p

Mine gets wavier, but it does need some added moisture from a leave-in or from a curl cream. It needs something other than drying stuff such as mousses or gels containing alcohol, otherwise it looks more like bed head than waves.

Slight wave, very slight.

If I use some product or AVG, then I can coax my hair into nice waves. It's hit and miss, though. More often than not, it just gives me a little extra volume.

It looks terrible and frizzy. It disrupts my ringlets and wurlies.

Mine gets a lot wavier, but the top layer needs a lot of products to stay that way. Its very good for volume though.

I've never tried!! Can somebody please point me in the direction of where I can find out how to try this please?? :)

Mine looks like a crunchy disaster for about five minutes before going straight again.

If I use product (gel and curl cream) I can scrunch my hair into it's full 2a potential. I have pictures in my album somewhere... I get better results with a "paddling" method I read about on natural curly. (That might not be what it's called, basically instead of using claw like fingers you keep your fingers together, so your hand is shaped like a paddle.)

neon-dream - there's a few ways to scrunch. Check out some youtube videos.

Nothing happens. It stays stick-straight.

With a little bit of gel and some scrunching my hair turns into some pretty fabulous 3a type curls, however, I hate using product and do not like crunchy hair so I very rarely do it.

Not much. It may hold some wave, then it's gonna straighten out

Mine looks like I've had a perm - and masses of volume (think Kate Bush in the 80's) I kind of like it.

Mine holds a tiny bit more wave afterwards; a lot more if I use product, but I generally don't. I prefer the results from braidwaves, really.

My hair gets wavier right after it's washed. I often end up with a curl or two once my hair is dry - if you can call them that. They're loose enough they look more like a strand of hair that was twisted around a few times and stayed like that. The rest of my hair ends up looking around 2b. After a few days my hair straightens out into a solid 1c, or occasionally 1b if I've been brushing it enough.

The same... Oh message too short again(:

It gives me very curly hair and also loosen curls depending on the steps. If I want my hair supercurly I scrunch my wet hair using some products and let it just like that. For softer and less curlier hair I "scrunch it out" (I mean, once dry I scrunch it again with no product). Note: don't scrunch out when it's wet (it can lead to frizz).
