Wear it loose and enjoy it. Congratulations!

I'd go with a half-up, maybe with the tail braided instead of held by a barrette, so it won't interfere with your mortarboard's fit. Congratulations! Show us pix of you in your cap and gown!

First off, Congratulations!! :cheese: I second wearing it down and loose. Have a great day and enjoy every minute of your accomplishment tomorrow. :D

Way to go! That is a huge accomplishment. :) I'm already excited and my graduation is still 2 quarters away. You should definatly wear your hair down so you can celebrate your acedemic progress by showing off your hair progress. Curling it would also look lovely on hair of your length.

Congrats!

I'd say a braid. A cap doesn't fit well over a bun, and I personally don't like the look of an academic cap over loose hair, especially when the mortar part is positioned on the back of the head as opposed to parallel to the floor. The cap is supposed to be on top of your head, not on the back.

Congrats! I graduate in May and I'm crossing my fingers for keeping my 1"/month growth rate so I'll be around bsl by then. I second a braid or at least a half-up. Buns are somewhat impossible with the cap and a bun thats low enough for the cap is often uncomfortable, I've found in the past.

Congratulations! My vote goes for braided half-up; not necessarily three-strand, you could mix things up with a herringbone. :)

Experiment with the cap. My bobby pins slid with my hair down.
Congratulations.

Congratulations! I'm still a year and a half away, and I am getting excited about graduating already. :p

I'd say wear it however you want to wear it! It's your day to shine, after all, not ours. :)

Congrats, good job! I vote for leaving your hair down. Those mortar boards are hard enough to keep on as it is, any hair things in the way make it tougher to keep on.

Congratulations!

I've worn mine down twice, in a long braid, and in double coronet braids. I liked the coronet braids best for myself when I look back at the photos...though it took extra care to pin the cap on correctly.

Maybe you could try out a few styles first to see what looks best on you.

Congratulations, job well done! I say wear it down! Graduation seems like such a free and liberating day, your hair should join it : )

Wear it down!

Last time I graduated from somewhere, I wore it loose...at school every day it was always up, so it had symbolic meaning when I "let my hair down"!

Congratulations on your graduation!! :) We knew you could do it - now go celebrate!

I'd go with some heat less curls or waves and wear it down. If you don't like that maybe a chignon?

Congratulations!

On the hair, I'll only counsel against letting vanity get the better of you and wearing it loose, if it's fine and floaty and the ceremony's going to be outdoors. Sure, ask me how I know.

Congratualtions!! I vote for the braid, looking back at my high school graduation pictures (I wore my hair down and it poofed out around the brim).

If you want the best of both worlds, why not braid it about 6" down from your nape, secure it, and let the rest hang loose?
