Hi, everyone! :) Does anyone who has one-length hair know how to partially pin up the side hair so that it looks like you have face-framing layers? I have waist-length hair with bangs/fringe, & I don’t want to cut side layers into my hair {again; I had them a long time ago}, but I would like to be able to curl some “shoulder-length layers” around my face while the rest of my hair is up or in a braid.
Also, I have a high & wide forehead, so I need my bangs/fringe, but I might be willing to try to grow them out if anyone could tell me various ways to make hair look like it has bangs, such as how to drape them across your forehead & pin them to the side or if anyone knows how to do a hairstyle I saw on the singer Fergie. Here is a description of that style: it looks like it was pinned towards the back of the head in the half-up, half-down style with some of the pinned part somehow flopping forward over the head & styled to look side-swept bangs. All other pictures I’ve seen of her show her without bangs, & this particular style {to me, anyway} really makes it look like she has them.
I’ll try to post a link in a later message if someone tells me it’s okay to do so. I’m a hair idiot, so I do need directions on how to do these things I described. I enjoy hair accessories, so it doesn’t matter if the pinning is showing or hidden. Thanks in advance for any replies. Have a happy hair-styling day! :)
