Hello everyone,
This is my first post on LongHairCommunity.com, or on any forum in general.
My hair story:
I started trying to grow my hair out around 6 years ago. However, I also regularly tortured it with a flat iron. In August of this year I decided to fully embrace my 3a curly hair, and now I love it! I have only straightened my hair about once a month since, and I have really seen results! From about January 2010-July 2010, I also had bleached hair underneath, which caused enough damage that my bottom-most layer of hair is now around 2 inches shorter than the rest. That's after my (very trustworthy) stylist cut around 3 inches of damaged hair off in September.
So, right now I'm working to grow out that bottom layer, as well as the rest of my hair! I'm a college student, so I'm thinking right now I'd like to end up at MBL, just for convenience sake.
I'd like to meet new people who are also on the Long-Hair Journey! Thanks all.
