is liquid coconut oil as good as solid

yay i finally found coconut oil !!!:cheese: but.. its liquid and it smells just like coconut... on the bottle it says aceite de coco which means coconut oil but it doesnt say if its virgin coconut oil or not in fact it doesnt have any info on it ..I asked the lady if it was only coconut oil and she said yes ..but im not so sure because I got it at a prfume store so anyways i was wondering about that?

It should turn solid when it is in a cool place. Pure coconut oil is both liquid and solid depending on the temperature. Try putting it in the refrigerator and see if it solidifies.

It's warm enough in Mexico that it may well stay liquid. It gets solid if the temperature falls below 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit.
