December 2010 Measure In

I looked a couple times for this months measure in thread and didn't find one, so here goes!

My son measured for me, very, very carefully, last night. Took him longer than usual. He ended up telling me that I'm at 35 7/8 inches! I was at 35 1/2 the first of November, but I dusted that night, taking off probably most of that 1/2 inch. So I've gained at least 1/2 inch this month.

I have been mostly maintaining since June, but I think I'm going to stop for a bit and see how it does as it gets longer.

I think this is a milestone for me. This is as long as my hair has ever been, and for the first time I don't want to cut it back several inches due to thin ends! Yay!

I just measured today and i'm 28.5 inches long.
i'm not measuring again until March 1st. i hope i gain at least two inches!

On the other hand that's another 0.75-1.25" or so 'less' of the brush damaged/broken ends that didn't require an actual trim.

I joined a few months ago and have been putting off official measuring until finally breaking down last night! I am 20" and the longest I have been in 5 years. I am really enjoying my hair journey with new ketylo sticks and a Que craft fork. Thanks for all the great advice and support! :thumbsup:

Before this morning's trim, when it was braid wave free: 53"
After trim: 51" or 51.5".

The trim was very much needed.

On November 1 I measured it at 9". Hubby measured it yesterday at 8 1/2! I don't know what happened! :_(

About 32.2 inch, 1/2 inch of growth. Finally at waist! Last trim was 5 months ago, I try to wait another few month for a small trim

I dont have a tape measure BUT my hair has grown. It was collar bone length and now its one inch past that :)

I'm *sniff sniff* only at a measley *sniff sniff* 19" now after cutting lots of my hair off about 5 weeks ago. I was at a long BSL and now it's hovering around my collarbone. I would be sadder but I've been going through a terrible divorce from the father of my 10 month old child, and I needed a pick-me-up. Sigh. I don't like short hair, but the ends are SOOOO healthy now. Grow hair grow! :)

Still at 22 inches. When I got my hair cut on November 5th she cut off about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. And it's only grown 1/4 of an inch in the last three and a half weeks. So back to where I started measuring in earnest.

Measured 37.25 inches after my monthly trim. I'm just skimming upper tailbone (bcl)!

The trim this month helped cure a couple of months of itching to just cut off those final 4 inches of damaged hair and hope for thicker ends...but I'm keeping my commitment to the full year of 2010 with 1/4-inch trims each month. I'm trying to commit to continuing throughout 2011, and I should be almost through with those 4 inches by then, but still gaining length each month!

I'm looking forward to 40 inches in the next year, as that's the length that sounded really *long* to me when I first joined LHC!

Up a half inch from last month, and just a half inch away from BSL! What a wonderful Christmas/birthday gift that'll be. :D

I'm at 27", another solid half inch. Same as every other month. So, I am thankful for steady growth.
Aaaanndd......I am a "hair's breadth" away from waist. ;) As I suspected, I will be pretty much at can-I-call-this-waist by Christmas!

Mine has grown an inch over the last month also! I thought it was a mistake but I re-measured several times and kept getting the same measurement.

I measured 102cm (40.2''), that is almost an inch of growth instead of my regular half inch! YAY! :D

Im not sure how to explain this, the majority of my head and body is still at 0, however, since starting Rafaelles visualisation on hair growth (see the link below) one of my patches of hair which has been less then a mm and showing no sign of regrowth has had a sudden growth spurt, so its now a mm long.

Im trying to keep calm, as I know it can fall out or it can just be like facial hair and only grow to less then 2 cm. Im crossing my paws and hope that its a good sign.
