Which is better at straightening hair alone- Boar Bristle or Paddle Brush?

:) I went to Boots and bought a 50% boar bristle brush for £6.50.

However, I have not opened the packet yet. When I was in the store I spent 1 hour thinking of whether I should buy a paddle or boar bristle brush. I want silky, straight hair. But whats more important to me is the straightness.

So which one is better for achieving straight hair? paddle or boar?

I can return it back but I just would appreciate some answers before opening the package and trying it.:cheese:

Hmm, I just can't get myself to open the package!. The paddle brush was the same size but a little bit cheaper and I want to have straighter hair but ive heard that boar can make hair silky as well as straight.

This might sound like a silly question but why do some brushes just have 50%?:confused:
