Avatar won't show?

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place-
I uploaded an avatar recently, and it shows on my profile page but not within my posts. It is within the size requirement (~125 by 100 pixels). Any idea what might be wrong?

If you are using the built-in gallery, make sure that the album and/or picture is set to Public viewing.
