Does anybody elses hair change color when it gets greasy?

I don't know if this is really weird or perfectly normal, but when my hair is clean it is a light cool ashy blonde, and when it gets greasy it is a darker warm caramel color. Does anyone elses hair change this drastically from grease?

Yep, mine get quite a bit darker.

That's pretty normal.
The dryer my hair is the lighter it gets. Wet or oiled it gets darker.

My hair is not silver when it's greasy. It turns dark, warm-toned grey.

Mine is naturally dark brown with a reddish tint in the light but when it is greasy it is almost black with no tint.

I don't doubt it, when the hair strands stick together less light can shine through making it darker. Not that I would know, but I am sure if I had lighter hair it would do the same.

Of course, mine from blonde become a reddish-brown.. :(

Mine darkens, and loses all the glints of yellow/gold/red/ that it has when it is clean.

Yuppers, an even darker cooler colour.
When it's clean my hair has more golden/red tones. :)

Mine is mid-brown and goes a dark brown when oily. I had a friend in high school who was naturally a warm blonde, and she hated her second day after washing because the oiliness made her hair look like a light brown.

My hair turns from a dark golden blonde to a very flat light brown.

Freshly washed my hair is always lighter!I dont know if its really dirt, but i remember when i had blond hair i had to wash it more often because the blond looks dirty faster.

My hair changes from a golden blonde to a more darker blonde when it gets greasy. It is especially noticeable near the roots and the colour difference between the roots and the lengths are very visible day two after washing. I just comb my hair back and bun it to hide the worst:)

The roots get a lot darker and it's super obvious it's greasy. :( I don't like it at all.

Same here, it gets darker, sort of grayish looking. Wondering if it's the same with colored hair, because I don't seem to remember that it got that much darker when greasy when my hair was colored.
