Guessing Game...

My son married his sweet lady Lindsey this past Saturday. Her hair was in a beautiful updo, but I found out last night how many bobby pins it took to hold this 'do. Anyone want to take a guess?
(Her hair is a little longer than BSL and thick).

Well, when I was a bridemaid at my sister-in-law's wedding, I had what was essentially only a fancy French twist made in my hair, and there were 47 hair pins that I had to remove at the end of the night!

On a side note, she has gorgeous hair, very shiny and clearly thick as you've said.

Given how many loops I can see on this side, plus the loops that unseen on the other side, and all the anchor points that have to be necessary to anchor the whole updo in place, I would guess there are 140 pins.

I had a similar hairdo one year for prom, and my hair was ~APL and it took 47 hairpins, so I'll double that number for my guess -- 94. :)
