How to clarify?

I started my LHC journey using cones. Dropped the cones. Then tried WO. Tried Herbal Only. Tried conventional coneless again. I am now officially ready to go back to cones.

I used to use Neutogena clarifying shampoo monthly. But I've heard others say that any clear champoo with SLS should do the trick? I do have hard water and need clarifying... the cones do build up. Vinegar rinses are nice, but aren't enough and baking soda is too harsh for more than seasonally in my book.

Any opinions or ideas?

My picks for clarifying are Neutrogena or V05 Kiwi lime squeeze clarifying. And you are right any sls shampoo with no cones will also clarify, just be careful of long lists of ingredients.
