Hey Everyone, I've been meaning to share this updo I did when I was a guest at a wedding a few months ago. I had a friend help( she held one side while I did the other) and twisted each side adding more from the outside as I went. Then secured it in a low bun. I got compliments and it stayed all night! And it was comfortable!:pumpkin:

Here's another angle... Don't mind my rats cage in the background. Haha.

Very pretty! So it was all just twisting and adding hair as you went? It almost looks like a braid on the sides.

That's very pretty. The best styles are the ones that look good (to you, and it's a bonus if others agree!) and holds both comfortably and solidly. You win on both accounts! :D

Very pretty! Your hair looks so shiny in the photos, too!

I've done something similar to this that I found here in the articles section -- I think it was called Stardust something. :)

I think it's great that you have such a large cage for your rats -- I dream of having some of my own one day, but it's not feasible right now . . .

Very nice!

And now I know why I can't do this type of thing... my hair is too thin and I haven't anyone to hold the other side while I work! ;)

Oooh, so pretty!

I have to admit, I do the same twist thing on my hair all the time. I twist it right down to the ends and hold one side in my mouth while I twist the other one. I then bring them together, rubber band the bottom and clip it all in a bun. It's a great way to get your hair off your face but still look so classy. As a bonus, if you do this while your hair is wet, when it dries you can take it down for gorgeous waves that last for days!

I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one that found the twisty style. It is beautiful and I think you did a wonderful job with it!
