silly question but I'm clueless !

Ok I try to work out whether my hair is growing slow, fast, normally. People comment sometimes on how fast it is growing, but if I see my hair now and how it was a month ago I don't see much difference.
So I asked dh to measure my hair (he also did it the first time when I made my account here a month ago)

so October was : 54 cm - 21.3 in
now November is : 60 cm - 23.6 in

What do you guys think ? :confused:

Unless you measured wrong, that's over 2 inches of growth in a month. That's fast :bigeyes:

That is really fast growth. However fast your hair grows, it is almost impossible to really notice it on yourself. You don't really have the right perspective.

Perhaps taking the typical LHC style photos (hair all down the back) every month will help you see how much it has grown.

wow Igor ! After checking your links I'm definitely going to double check on my husbands measuring skills :D
If what they say in those links is about average mine would be growing superfast and it doesn't feel like that :p

I'm going to take tinygirls advice and try to take a photo every month to see whether it is growing. :cheese: (now on to conquer the skill of making photo's of the back of my head !)

6 cm per month... I bet you can literally SEE the growth, like a bamboo. I have never heard about anyone with faster growing hair, so- yes, definitely your hair grows fast.

well since I can't see anything and I had the feeling this month that my hair took a sabbatical month ... I'm guessing my husband did the measuring wrong this or previous month ! going to do the photo thing to be sure :D

well the average a person gets a month is 0.5", you got 2.3" thats very fast, well done!
