I'm doing a bit better. Registered for classes at the community college... a start. Oh, and I henna'd my hair!

The henna really has saved my hair. It's been a long summer of torture haha. But it happens. Hair grows ... I really love the color.

Henna for the win! At least now that I have my hair in order, my upcoming seventeen credit schedule won't be compounding any stress.

Thank you everyone! I trimmed most of the damaged bits of that didn't take bleach well. It's doing pretty well... no splits and almost APL... almost haha. I've been growing from a pixie in jan 2008... and I've cut well over 8 inches off. So it's growing fast, thank goodness :D

I did not. I expected a dark rich color.. I am unsure of how it happened. My guess is that when I bleached out the henna, I made my hair quite porous, and so when I dyed it black, the henna just replaced the black because the black just "fell out". My hair has always been very thick-stranded, and porous. So perhaps this is what happened. I didn't remove the black, and it turned out my dream color. Very close to my mom's color.

I didn't even know there were any in Oregon (grew up in Seattle and they're there). Actually, me too. I grew up in Michigan, and I actually live in Maryland right now. Everytime someone notices I live in Oregon... I remember I need to change that. Haha. I loved it there, but I went to the East for some personal reasons.

I love Shari's. They have none here. It's tragic.

The henna brought out a gorgeous shine in your hair! And I love the color! Very mutch fantastic that the henna "replaced" the black. Has been my problem for many years that I have wanted to change over to henna, but the line between black and orange looks horrible on me. Now I have discovered Henndigo, wohoo ;)
