I was just watching the classic episodes/movies of The Waltons. I don't know if anyone watches this show, but Elizabeth Walton's redhair caught my attention. Being a fan of long hair, I always keep an eye out on movies and TV shows, even in the adverts, I like to just watch it if the girl has beautiful, long hair.:D

Elizabeth had beautiful, very thick, long hair. I was curious to know whether her hair was really this thick & long?. because as a child her hair was normal thickness and then when she was a young adult, her hair looked extremely thick, especially in a plait.

If anyone watches the Waltons, I think you will know what I am talking about and I would love an answer to this. :)

I was always so envious of Elizabeth Waltons long, incredibly thick hair.
I felt so inadequate watching her on TV with my boy short pixie that my mother enforced.

Wow, I think she is even prettier now than back in the Walton days (I thought she was pretty then too)!

She is gorgeous! What beautiful hair! How nice to see she escaped the fate of so many child actors. I hope she wasn't as annoying in real life as her character :D I always wanted to see Elizabeth get taken to the woodshed for some of the things she did.

Refreshing to read about a hollywood child star who didn't crash and burn because she couldn't continue in the acting world.

Miss Colter sounds like a wise, down to earth person. More Power to her. Some of the celebrity wannabes could take a leaf from her book.

Thanks for the link Demetrue, interesting read.:)

The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie are one of my favourite, classic shows. I am watching the re-runs on my TV channel.

Elizabeth was a adorable kid that grew upto be a lovely young woman, I have always admired her very thick, long redhair and this was the perfect place for me to discuss it.:D

Yes i remember she had such beautiful hair as a child. Good to see she's done something positive with her life unlike some of the child actors we know.

Thanks for the article! Interesting read. I love watching The Waltons reruns. I'd love to live in an old house on a mountain like they did!

Here she is in the younger days (in the link below)when her hair was more bright copper red. I think it's faded/darkened to a muddy brown/aburn red now (in the above link)

There was a picture of her from the side in one of those links. You can see her ponytail, and it looks like her hair is still quite long. I love the way she pulled it back in this picture too.

I was so envious of her hair when I was a kid. Elizabeth Walton and Laura Ingalls.

I was always fascinated with the character Erin's hair, loved the way she wore it, and never in a million years thought I'd ever have long hair.
