Although I have joined two or three forums in the past (duration of my life), usually I move on after a week, because I find it very difficult to feel accepted/welcomed, but after looking through some posts on here over the span of a few days, I decided to join, hoping that past experiences wouldn't repeat themselves. You all seem like lovely people. However, I find it a bit odd that I registered for a forum on the sole topic of hair -- it's so uncharacteristic of me -- but I am wanting to take more care in my locks, and this site may be my motivational strength in accomplishing that feat. I've been obsessively collecting photos of hairstyles and reading articles the past few days and starting a hairbook has me pumped! Hope to learn a lot from the crowd here, and maybe one day pass on that knowledge to others facing a hair-crisis and seeking rehabilitation.
