Hair type me please

This is after I washed it last night, finger combed only. No products. Air dried. I always had 1a stick straight hair - until after my second child was born. It was also thin - now my ponytail not including my fringe is over 4". The front/fringe is still a 1a. So, anyway, please help. I've since dyed it back to match my natural color as well, after 3 months of lightening.

My first thought is 2A -- more wavy than straight.

2a. You have what pretty much amounts to 'all over waves'. 1c hair has just a few loose S shapes within mostly straight hair. You look more wavy than straight to me.

ETA: Your use of the flatiron to get straight hair is telling. 1 types may have a few small wavy dents to smooth out with a flatiron, and even then only if going for the super sleek look. 2 types would almost have to use a flatiron to get hair that straight. I could comb the wave out of my hair as a 2a, but nothing short of either a blowout with a round brush or a flatiron is going to give me straight hair now.

if that's how your hair is untreated, at LEAST 2a - even 2b, given the wave pattern.

1c is mostly straight with just a few waves - I'm seeing a lot wavier than that.

Right now, I would classify it as an average of a 1c. It could easily be bumped up to a 2a in the near future, though.

Looks like you have a mix of 1c and 2b. Since 1c/2b isn't an available option, I'll go with 2a.

I would definately say 2a but maybe more considering you finger combed. Maybe it would have been wavier doing nothing at all to it...no fingers even.
