Oh ladies! You all make me so happy. This forum makes me feel like I am fully supported all the time. I am so glad I can post what may seem like silly pictures to non-LHC members & others, but to you all they're just wonderful hair pictures :)

Thank you for taking the time to make me feel like I made the right choice :)

Well done, i'm happy for you and proud.
I know how difficult it can be to get rid of some length. :D

She did a great job! You can hardly tell you've lost any length.

It looks really good :)

It looks so much better your ends look thicker. It will get back to your original length in no time your hairdresser did a great job:)

it looks WAY better. I recommend protecting your ends with castor oil every other day, it made a huge difference on my ends

It looks great! I konw you said she cut off more than inch but even when measuring from the same point you can get a bit of varation. I measure a few times to take an average. You may well have found the perfect type of hairdresser, where an inch is an inch.

If not, your hair still looks fabulous and thick and long :)

Which is closer to your colour in real life; the ends look lightened by the flash I assume?

I got my hair trimmed today :) very happy- she took about 3cm off and it looks and feels so much better- just short of BSL when streched now. Hopefully next time i go for a trim my hair will be BSL whilst curly. After the next trim I might brave it I try cutting it myself o_O

I like before the trim as well as after the trim because I like fairytale ends. But I can see where you really had damage and needed a trim. I am in the same boat. I need a trim too.

Your hair is beautiful :)

It looks really good! The trim was a smart move. You will probably grow that extra inch back in what seems like no time!

Thanks everyone, I was so scared to lose length but I told myself, "Eva, DO IT!" I went to the salon, told the lady what I wanted, and she did it. :) I miss my extra 1.5 inches, but hopefully it grows better now.

Your hair looks awesome, you made the right choice! And your overall volume is much more than 'i' IMO. :) It's more likely to be 'ii'.

It's looking great!

Just an idea - but you felt brave enough you could possibly do little microtrims yourself on it every month/couple of months and in-between stylist visits which would also help to get rid of some of the damage you were talking about. It's a good money saver too LOL.

The cut is really nice :)
