November 4th, 2010, 12:14 AM

Oh ladies! You all make me so happy. This forum makes me feel like I am fully supported all the time. I am so glad I can post what may seem like silly pictures to non-LHC members & others, but to you all they're just wonderful hair pictures :)

Thank you for taking the time to make me feel like I made the right choice :)

November 4th, 2010, 12:46 AM

You look great! :D

November 4th, 2010, 12:52 AM

November 4th, 2010, 01:14 AM

November 4th, 2010, 01:31 AM
Your hemline looks very thick and beautiful :) You have lovely hair

November 4th, 2010, 02:07 AM
Wow, that inch made a huge difference in the condition of the hair- looks great! :eyebrows:

November 4th, 2010, 02:46 AM
Well done, i'm happy for you and proud.
I know how difficult it can be to get rid of some length. :D

November 4th, 2010, 03:24 AM
She did a great job! You can hardly tell you've lost any length.

It looks really good :)

November 4th, 2010, 03:43 AM
It looks so much better your ends look thicker. It will get back to your original length in no time your hairdresser did a great job:)

November 4th, 2010, 03:44 AM
Looks wonderful and your ends got thicker from the process. ;)

November 4th, 2010, 04:37 AM
Looks very full, and still firmly at BSL - good decision! :)

November 4th, 2010, 04:52 AM
it looks WAY better. I recommend protecting your ends with castor oil every other day, it made a huge difference on my ends

November 4th, 2010, 06:17 AM
It looks great!

November 4th, 2010, 06:48 AM
It looks great! I konw you said she cut off more than inch but even when measuring from the same point you can get a bit of varation. I measure a few times to take an average. You may well have found the perfect type of hairdresser, where an inch is an inch.

If not, your hair still looks fabulous and thick and long :)

Which is closer to your colour in real life; the ends look lightened by the flash I assume?

November 4th, 2010, 08:03 AM
It looks much thicker and healthier now. I like it. :)

November 4th, 2010, 08:06 AM
Yes I agree - good choice and not too drastic!

November 4th, 2010, 08:10 AM
It looks great!

November 4th, 2010, 09:22 AM
It looks beautiful- I'm getting mine trimmed tomorrow- very excited and a little scared

November 4th, 2010, 09:30 AM
Your hair looks nice!

November 4th, 2010, 09:57 AM
Wow what a difference and inch can make in overall healthy looking hair! for sure the right choice and you will love your hair even more!

November 4th, 2010, 10:45 AM
I think flash makes hair look shiny. Yours looks good; nice trim.

November 4th, 2010, 11:33 AM
Looks great!

November 4th, 2010, 11:48 AM
 Looking great!

November 4th, 2010, 12:05 PM

November 4th, 2010, 01:44 PM
Thank you everyone, I don't remember anyone calling my hair thick since i was 14. I am so happy. :)

November 4th, 2010, 02:23 PM
It looks really nice. Great trim!

November 5th, 2010, 09:49 AM
I got my hair trimmed today :) very happy- she took about 3cm off and it looks and feels so much better- just short of BSL when streched now. Hopefully next time i go for a trim my hair will be BSL whilst curly. After the next trim I might brave it I try cutting it myself o_O

November 5th, 2010, 09:56 AM
It looks much thicker and helthier now, I think you made a good choice!

November 5th, 2010, 10:55 AM
I like before the trim as well as after the trim because I like fairytale ends. But I can see where you really had damage and needed a trim. I am in the same boat. I need a trim too.

Your hair is beautiful :)

November 5th, 2010, 05:15 PM
Two thumbs up! Looks really good! :)

November 5th, 2010, 06:01 PM
I like both before and after too, but I have to agree it looks much thicker with the trim. Congratulations on making a great decision, these things can be tough!

November 5th, 2010, 08:34 PM
Ooh, your hemline looks so much thicker now! Great work :)

November 5th, 2010, 08:43 PM
It looks really good! The trim was a smart move. You will probably grow that extra inch back in what seems like no time!

November 5th, 2010, 09:04 PM
I just did this myself. lol

Your hair looks much better now. That amount seems to have worked nicely.

November 5th, 2010, 09:18 PM
It looks so much healthier and thicker now. :)

November 6th, 2010, 12:47 AM
Yes it looks much better. Good choice.

November 6th, 2010, 01:30 AM
I've been on the fence about doing this too, this makes me see I really should :)

November 6th, 2010, 09:15 AM
good choice, I'll be doing the same soon too.

November 6th, 2010, 10:36 AM
I think the trim was a great success. Your hair is looking really good! Two thumbs up for your decision. :) I might have to get my "every few months" trim soon, now that I think about it.

November 7th, 2010, 09:06 PM
Thanks everyone, I was so scared to lose length but I told myself, "Eva, DO IT!" I went to the salon, told the lady what I wanted, and she did it. :) I miss my extra 1.5 inches, but hopefully it grows better now.

November 7th, 2010, 11:23 PM
Looks much better and healthier :)

November 8th, 2010, 12:12 AM
Hooray thank you! :)

November 8th, 2010, 12:37 AM
This may sound strange but it actually looks longer! Great choice!

November 8th, 2010, 12:58 AM
You made the right decision! This thin sharp end had to go. Now your hemline looks much better :)

November 8th, 2010, 08:59 AM
Your hair looks better, maybe I should also get a trim

November 9th, 2010, 12:39 AM
This may sound strange but it actually looks longer!
I thought so too right after you said that! How strange.

November 9th, 2010, 12:41 AM
You made the right decision! This thin sharp end had to go.
Definitely agree, now that I look back at it I agree with you! :)

November 9th, 2010, 03:37 AM
The ends look fuller, but over all I can't tell because of the picture.

November 9th, 2010, 05:13 AM
Your hair looks awesome, you made the right choice! And your overall volume is much more than 'i' IMO. :) It's more likely to be 'ii'.

November 9th, 2010, 06:16 AM
Your hair looks very healthy now! Good choice.

November 9th, 2010, 06:23 AM
It's looking great!

Just an idea - but you felt brave enough you could possibly do little microtrims yourself on it every month/couple of months and in-between stylist visits which would also help to get rid of some of the damage you were talking about. It's a good money saver too LOL.

The cut is really nice :)
