I was taking my picture for the half up hairstyle tonight, and I noticed that my hair is significantly shinier now than it was back in August.

The main differences in the last few months are that I stopped shampooing so often, and I also started using Redken Rich Recovery Color Extend at the advice of a Hair Cuttery stylist. Color me impressed - it's very rare that a product a stylist recommends to me makes this much of a difference!

It does look shinier, but the first picture also doesn't have as good a resolution. Do you have any other photos to compare?

Well, the first picture was taken with my cell phone camera, and the second with my digital camera that I bought later, so that explains the resolution difference. Most of my other pictures I could compare with are of a different color, so they probably wouldn't help much.

I will say that I have noticed my hair is much softer and silkier than it had been for a while. I used to have a lot of trouble combing through it. It's possible the difference isn't as much as I think given the resolution differences in the pictures, but it definitely feels a lot healthier too! I guess it takes a lot to recover from even one year of highlights!
