Bleached and toned WHITE. Doesn't get much more damaged than that. I ended up shaving my head but I dearly loved that color.

Erg, do we have to? Okay let me see, here is a really bad picture of the back of my noggin March of 2009, this is my shortest, most dyed, ickiest starting point. Be prepared to want to dig your eyes out with a spoon.

:( my hair after an Indian herb treatment. I have to say that it did NOT like it one bit. My hair got FRIED. Good thing this was just a test strand and I didn't put it all over my head. *sigh* I'm still trying to fix the damage.

Just for reference, this is the other side without the "treatment".

:o I did the super bleached hair too and usually it turne out ok ... until one time when I ran out of the after conditioner .. it was ... well ... unbelievable. I could use it as cheap elastic, it was so stretchy :(

One thing i have to say about your bleached hair ladies. It does look good and the shine is wonderful :) too bad it turned out so wrong in the end.

This was back when I used to use the evil bleach... crunchy fried hair.

Using bleach ruined everything for me. NEVER used hot topic bleach by the way.

Don't have any pics of the worst. Literally fried my hair off and chemically burned my scalp. PPD is evil. There are no pics from that time that I can share legally, since I've debated taking legal action for the damage. It's severe, blistering, hospital treatments required and all that fun crap.

Bleaching and teasing for a Halloween costume, ha ha.
I don't have any pics though. 'Twas a disaster.

These pictures don't really do it justice. I didn't keep the truly awful ones around. ;)

After several box dyes, trying to match my natural color. Also, after using a flat iron on a regular basis for a good three years:

http://i1016.photobucket.com/albums/af287/melanie891/100_0426-1.jpg?t=1288664684

Chopped and faded back to the brassy bleach just a few months later:

And my natural color, for reference. This was taken just a year after the previous one:

My worst would probably be this http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=1108&pictureid=12669 when I still had bleached streaks my hair stylist gave me which were the most damaging bleaching I've ever had.
And then there was this time when i bleached a streak of hair that had some feria dark hair dye on it http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=1108&pictureid=35464
And there is the dyed hair in my signature which I still have, but honestly I've never fried my hair before.

This is my hair in december, 2007. It wasn't trimmed for a long time. I dyed it half a year later which made it even worse but I don't have pics of that.

Hummm. My hair has never been severely damaged at all, so I don't have any pictures to contribute to this thread I'm afraid. My hair is super strong, I mean literally its like steel. Even after all the lightening and coloring I have done, my hair's quality is still silky and soft and shiny.

My hair is currently the stuff of horror films, I can't even bring myself to take a picture of it...

Might get dh to take one later, hide it from me and then use it to compare in a few years!

LOL....yeah, I have one of those somewhere.....I permed REGULARLY from the time I was in 7th grade (1979-ish) until 1998......needless to say, my hair would break off in my hands, just from touching it. When I stopped, I cut it off to chin-length because it was horribly fried and destroyed.....

Here was my hair all natural back in 2006. My natural colour and how my hair curled when I just left it to air dry, it was pretty spontaneous and never the same way twice it used to annoy me a lot actually! But I do miss it now.

A few bleach and dye jobs and a lot of hair straightening with no cuts because I was trying to grow my hair, it makes me cringe thinking about it leads us to the only picture I have of it on Halloween 2008.

It got a lot worse than that! That frizzy fried mess from hair straightners, bleach and hair dye was actually a few days after a trim too! It's supposed to be red and blue, the damage really destroyed my natural curls and waves. I don't have any pictures of it after Halloween though, it all got chopped to shoulder and dyed back to brown the February after that as it just got worse and the ends got thinner and the splits got higher and it was a mess haha.

I've posted this already before, but here goes:

Now THIS is what I call crazy fried destroyed hair. You girls can't compete ^^ I used to chem dye every month for... all my life (since I was 15, basically). Don't try this at home.

You and me both. The worst damage I've ever had was when I bleached it every month (mostly roots) and flat ironed every day, and even then it looked pretty nice. I love my nice, thick strands.
The part of my hair that took the worst of it though, was my bangs when my hair was shorter a while back.

This picture here shows a comparison between abused, neglected, bleached, and flat-ironed bangs, and healthier hair about a month or so in to LHC style hair care (and a nice dye job with an ammonia free semi containing jojoba oil). I trimmed those ends off the bangs (from nose length to glasses length, so you can see, obviously, the ends really took the thick of it as usual. Same exact strand of hair in both pictures. I did post this a long time ago when I first joined here, so it may be familiar to a few members.
http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc15/jenny_the_strange/meowvnfrjv.jpg

In this picture, the hair is blowing in the wind a little as I'm piloting a small Waco Bi-plane with the window rolled down a little. Had a co-pilot take the pic for the heck of it but my face was pretty messed up from concentrating so I censored the horrible ugliness. :p
http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc15/jenny_the_strange/IMG_0538.jpg
Also, I managed to mayonnaise the henna out of my hair last week (didn't think it would do that, even us so called gurus screw up sometimes) and it is beginning to look almost exactly like the above picture (except obviously much healthier, and softer, yay mayo) just a darker strawberry blonde. Stay tuned for a thread on that story on the henna&herb board. It's interesting!

Bottom line is, that's about the worst my hair's ever looked. And I don't really think it looked that bad actually!
