1 year anniversary on LHC (+pics)

Here's a comparison of the day I joined LHC a year ago, and pics taken very recently. Naturally, I am bummed to not have grown the full average, but I think I hit it closer than previously suspected: I was just under 18" when I joined, now I'm just over 22" and I did get two mini-trims in there. I guess I'm APL now (???) and am going for BSL or a bit longer. :) In the past year, I've also changed to organic shampoos and conditioners, started using coconut oil, developed a (very financially damaging) hair toy enthusiasm, but I live in good 'ol Michigan so I still blow-dry most mornings (from soaking to barely damp, not till dry). I guess some things won't change.

What a difference a year makes. It's hugely encouraging to see photos of LHC members at various stages of their LHC membership, and gives me hope that some day I might be able to post a picture of my hair growth and think: "Thank goodness, now I feel like me again...." :)
