Iv been doing some tests on what I eat, and what makes me feel really well. One I found today was Watercress. Iv looked it up on line and it looks like an awesome food for the hair and skin.
Heres a website I found on it:

Is there anyone else with experience of using watercress for hair growth - apparently the Romans and Anglo Saxons used it for that?

Hey, thanks for posting this. I happen to like watercress, just didn't know about its nutritional value. It's been several years since I've had some, maybe that will have to change. :)

Iv found out a bit more:
WARNING; Dont have if you have thyroid problems, are pregenant or bladder pain, as the stuff in it can effect these. Dont have too much as it can affect your kidneys.
Ok the rest of it:
It has an affect on dandruff and helps stop hair falling out. It is also used for eczema, acne, ringworm, skin infections and infections. It can also strengthen and thicken the hair. Its a good cure for a hangoer.
It contains loads of minerals and vitamins including A, C, Iron, Zinc, Sulfur to help strong nails and healthy hair.
So it looks like a good thing to have a couple of times per week, but dont over do it!

Ooh, my mom used to make tomato & watercress salad every morning; she now uses tomato only, i'll have to tell her to add watercress again :D
ETA: I didn't measure my growth rate, but i don't remember any extraordinary growth when i was eating it.

It's very popular in arabic recipes! ALL growth recipes have watercress oil in them as a key ingredient,I have seen alot of women swear by it.no personal experience but it's defenitly popular.

It's great for hair growth and health overall -- I buy it wheneve I can find it. However, there's a lot of variation with price and quality. Not too many stores carry it by me, and those that do charge a premium.
Also heard something about a liver fluke that you can pick up by eating watercress grown in lesser controlled farming environments. Maybe that has something to do with the price...

That is true Cherry Silver. I know in the Uk, there are very stringent rules on growing watercress and you have to have a special licence to do it.
I guess we have it here so much as we have a LOT of rain here, thus the right river conditions to grow it.
