Hello from UK newbie here

I am 20 years old, girl from London!. I am glad to find this forum because I want to grow long hair up to my waist and beyond. My mothers sisters all had very long thick, dark hair down to their bottom when they were my age and younger. I always wanted long hair but my mum used to cut it short when I was a kid and from 16 years old, I have medium length hair. This time I told my mum not to cut it because I want to grow it out. So here my journey begins:)

I always had my hair cut short too- ie sholder length, but the last 8 months or so i've been growing it out.
