I'm a reader for a wedding today and I'm stumped about my hair. I am wearing a strapless dress and I got a cute flower headband to wear with it. I had originally planned to curl it and do a fluffy-ish updo, but it's looking like rain. So I need something to do with my hair that isn't slicked back against my skull like most straight-hair updos are on me. Braids would look weird with the dress. Any ideas?

I suppose I could just leave it down, but then I need to bring a brush to keep touching it up...

Well it depends on the wedding but here goes:

A chignon with tendrils left out, or a bun of choice.
A false bob if your hairs long enough
A puff with the hair band
A beehive type arrangement behind the band

Because it's a strapless dress, I think that at least some of your hair should be down. maybe you could do a half-up peacock twist if you don't want it all up? Otherwise... Maybe you could just bring an umbrella along with you outside.

Sorry, when I saw the thread title I couldn't not think of the classic wartime documentary Target for Tonight (http://www.screenonline.org.uk/film/id/577991/)!

Whatever you pick though I'm sure you'll look great :-)
