Itchy and Shedding?

If I run my comb through my hair, at least six hairs come out and it's getting really annoying. It's also very itchy, unless I wash it daily. What could be the cause of this, or is it just seasonal shedding?

It your scalp is itchy, my first guess would be an allergy to something. it could be your shampoo or it could be a reaction to something you ate, or a medication you take.

I have seasonal sheds, they don't itch. I'm having one right now. The only time my scalp itches is if it has something it doesn't like on it. For me that's sulfate anything, or a derivative there of. For me a scalp focused rinse post wash with diluted vinegar helps a lot to remove any chemical irritants and balance scalp acidity, so maybe that will help.
