how long do you leave your protein treatment on when you use it?

I've been leaving it on 1-2 minutes in the shower like it says on the bottle, but I haven't noticed much difference.

Mine says it should be left for about ten minutes, so I do that or longer.

I leave mine on for roughly 5 minutes and follow up with a moisturising treatment
