MissManda posted a hairstyle blog a few threads ago (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=57624) and it got me thinking about what other style blogs might be out there. What better way to find out than to ask my fellow LHCers!!

What are your favorite long hair style blogs? Only two rules: absolutely NO YouTube please, and only hairstyles - not hair care. They can be your own LHC blogs, but they should be predominantly about styles and preferrably include images and instructions. Actually that goes for all the blogs! ;)

The one MissManda posted, and now one of my daily hits is:

Hair Friendly Styles (http://hairfriendlystyles.wordpress.com/) - http://hairfriendlystyles.wordpress.com/ - It is utterly awesome: well written, detailed images, good directions, and overall just an elegant blog.

(Mods: I almost put this in Polls but I'm really just asking for input so I thought this was a better place. My apologies if I am mistaken and if so please move this thread over there!)

Rapunzel's Resource (http://rapunzelsresource.wordpress.com/). I particularly love her French braid variation (http://rapunzelsresource.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/french-braid-variation/). :)

I don't wear any of these styles, but I love the Beads, Braids, and Beyond (http://beadsbraidsbeyond.blogspot.com/) blog. The mother is so good with styling her daughter's hair, and so creative!

Freelancer's Fashion Blog
The Freelancer's Fashionblog: hair (http://freelancersfashion.blogspot.com/search/label/hair)

It's not just hair, it includes vintage clothes and the general lifestyle of a very cool gal. The styles are really great though and she has a tutorial or two. It's definitely for shorter hair, as they tend to be 1940s styles, but they can be adapted, I think.

I also second Rapunzel's Resource.

ETA: I included the tag "hair," to just link to the hairstyle related posts.

This one also came from a thread somewhere else on LHC, but I spent the better part of a week reading each and every post!

Both of these are for "little" girls, but I've adapted quite a few styles for myself, and even if I'm not looking for a style, I just like to see what the gals are up to and what cool styles they've been doing recently. Lots of braids to be found here. http://www.girlydohairstyles.com/ and http://www.princesshairstyles.com/

I also recently found this page and am going to try a few of these on my YT channel. Just click on the thumbnails for pics with instructions. Beautiful, elegant, vintage up-do's for long hair: http://www.rapunzelsdelight.com/new-stan/modern-styles.html

Thanks HintofMint for that great tip-what a fun looking blog.
This blog called "Hair On The Brain" started my whole obsession with hair. She just talks about celebrities and their hair and sometimes has tutorials. I like the accessible tone of her blog and she always answers comments.
