Scalp only brushing

With use who only comb your hair, do you ever do a scalp only brushing? If you dont do you just do a head massage or do nothing to stimulate your scalp?

Occasionaly I use my BB brush on the scalp, because it has an exfoliating effect and it helps me get rid of dry skin and flakies. I tried doing it with my fingers but it makes my scalp oily faster, while the brush does not :)

I scalp comb every morning and night, for the rest of the hair I just use a detangling comb.
